This complete set of five fuel lines is engineered to handle the extreme pressures these 3.2L five-cylinder engines generate during normal operation. Each Ford Ranger fuel line in this kit is manufactured to withstand the constant stress of pressure cycling while maintaining the structural integrity necessary for safe, leak-free fuel delivery across thousands of injection events per minute.

Complete kit includes: Cylinder 1 (UH02-42-514A), Cylinder 2 (U207-42-511), Cylinder 3 & 4 (U209-42-511), Cylinder 5 (U211-42-511).

Note: Please provide your VIN when ordering or contact our team to confirm this is the correct fuel line set for your vehicle.

Vehicle Fitment

Suits Ford Ranger and Mazda BT50 fitted with 3.2L P5AT five-cylinder diesel engines from 2011 through to 2021 models.

Understanding Fuel Line Service Life

Common rail diesel systems operate under pressures that place enormous stress on fuel delivery components. The Ford Ranger fuel line experiences constant flexing and pressure waves with every injection cycle. Over time, typically after covering 120,000-150,000km, the internal structure of these lines begins breaking down from metal fatigue. This degradation isn't visible from outside. The lines look perfectly serviceable while microscopic steel particles are contaminating your fuel system. These particles flow directly into your injectors where they cause premature wear on components machined to tolerances measured in microns. This is why Ford Ranger fuel line replacement becomes essential maintenance rather than optional servicing as your vehicle ages.

Recognising Replacement Indicators

External damage is the most obvious sign that replacement is overdue. Check for cracks in the protective coating, any bulging that indicates internal pressure problems, or fuel residue around the fittings suggesting leaks. However, the most critical damage happens internally long before external symptoms appear. If you're replacing injectors, installing new fuel lines simultaneously isn't optional. It's protecting your investment. Fitting fresh injectors with contaminated old lines guarantees reduced injector lifespan. Age is another factor. Rangers and BT50s from 2011 are now over a decade old. Material degradation happens regardless of kilometres travelled.

Proper Handling During Service

When working on your P5AT engine, never bend fuel lines to create working clearance. If you need access to the rocker cover or surrounding components, disconnect the lines properly rather than flexing them out of position. Bending creates permanent weak spots that eventually crack under operating pressure, causing dangerous high-pressure fuel leaks. The time saved during installation isn't worth the risk of roadside failure or potential fire hazard from pressurised diesel spray.

Always fit new copper sealing washers at both the injector and common rail connections. Reused washers won't seal correctly after being compressed once. Use a torque wrench for all fittings. Guessing torque values leads to either leaks from insufficient tightening or damaged threads from over-tightening. After completing the Ford Ranger fuel line replacement, prime the system thoroughly and inspect all connections for leaks before putting the vehicle back into service.
