Genuine Fuel Lines (Set of 8) to suit Toyota Landcruiser 1VD-FTV 79 Series / 200 Series Pre-DPF
Toyota manufactures these genuine fuel lines for 1VD Toyota Landcruiser engines to handle the extreme pressures of modern common rail diesel systems. This complete set of 8 fuel lines is designed specifically for pre-DPF 1VD-FTV engines in both 79 and 200 Series Landcruisers. Each line is engineered to maintain structural integrity under constant pressure cycling while delivering fuel precisely to each cylinder. These aren't universal fit components. They're matched to the exact routing, length, and pressure requirements of your V8 diesel.
Complete kit includes: Cylinder 1 & 5 (2x 23701-51010), Cylinder 2 & 6 (2x 23702-51010), Cylinder 3 & 7 (2x 2370351010), Cylinder 4 & 8 (2x 23704-51010).
Note: Please provide your VIN when ordering or contact our team to confirm this is the correct fuel line set for your vehicle.
Vehicle Fitment
Suits Toyota Landcruiser 79 Series and 200 Series fitted with 1VD-FTV diesel engines (pre-DPF models only) from 2007 through to 2017.
Why High-Pressure Fuel Lines Fail
Common rail diesel systems operate at pressures that most people find hard to believe. We're talking 2000+ bar, which is roughly 30,000 PSI. At these pressures, fuel lines are under constant stress. Every injection event creates a pressure wave that travels through the line. Over years and kilometres, typically beyond the 120,000-150,000km mark, the internal steel structure begins to fatigue. You won't see this damage from the outside. The lines look perfectly fine, but microscopically, the steel is breaking down and shedding particles into your fuel system. These particles bypass the fuel filter because they're too small, flowing straight into your injectors where they cause accelerated wear on precision surfaces. The part number 23701-51010 and its companion lines in this kit are designed to handle these pressures without degradation, but like any stressed component, they have a service life.
Signs Your Fuel Lines Need Replacement
Visual inspection can reveal obvious problems. Look for cracks in the outer covering, bulges that indicate internal pressure issues, or any signs of fuel weeping at the fittings. However, internal degradation happens long before external symptoms appear. If you're experiencing injector problems or you're about to replace injectors, it's the perfect time to fit fresh fuel lines. Installing new injectors with old fuel lines is like fitting new tyres but ignoring worn suspension. You're not getting the full benefit of the new parts. The contamination from degraded lines will shorten the life of your new injectors significantly.
Installation Best Practices
Never reuse old copper washers when fitting the 2370351010 or any fuel lines from this set. New washers create the proper seal at both the injector and common rail connections. Torque specifications are critical with high-pressure fuel systems. Too loose and you'll have dangerous fuel leaks under pressure. Too tight and you risk damaging the fittings or cracking the lines themselves. Follow Toyota's torque specs precisely. After installation, prime the fuel system properly and check for leaks before starting the engine. Run the engine and carefully inspect all eight connections while it's idling. Any sign of fuel weeping needs immediate attention: high-pressure diesel leaks are dangerous and can cause fires.
Why Replace as a Complete Set
The V8 1VD-FTV has eight cylinders, which means eight high-pressure fuel lines. If one line has reached the end of its service life, the others aren't far behind. They've all experienced the same pressure cycles, the same vibration, and the same age-related degradation. Replacing them as a complete set prevents the frustration of doing the job twice when another line fails six months later. This kit gives you all eight lines including the 23701-51010 for cylinders 1 and 5, so you're covered in one go.
Warranty
Genuine Toyota product with full statutory warranty. Kit includes all eight fuel lines required for complete replacement on 1VD-FTV pre-DPF engines.
