• BDG strongly advises replacing high-pressure fuel lines whenever injectors are changed. After 120,000 to 150,000 km, these lines begin to degrade internally. As the steel inside the lines starts to break down, the particles travel directly into the injectors. While these particles are microscopic, they can still cause significant damage to your new injectors. Think of it as water eroding rocks over time, with the process accelerated by the high pressure of the common rail system. Additionally, never bend fuel lines when removing the rocker or tappet cover, as this weakens the lines and can lead to cracks and leaks later on.
